Summary:
The price charged for a Product will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed and will be set out in the order receipt and order confirmation emails. Western Outlets may change prices at any time without notice. Price changes will only apply to orders placed after such changes.
Prices for the Products do not include charges for taxes, shipping or handling.
Western Outlets charges sales tax where required by law. Sales Tax is applied to your order in accordance with individual State and local regulations. If you are shipping to states where sales tax is charged and Western Outlets has “Sales Tax Nexus”, an estimation of the tax charge is indicated in your Shopping Cart. Exact charges will be calculated automatically after your order is shipped, depending on the Zip Code of the shipping address. The final amount will be equal or less than the estimated Sales Tax and will be indicated in the invoice you receive with the Shipping Confirmation e-mail.
If an item is subject to sales tax, in accordance with state tax laws, the tax is generally calculated on the total selling price of each individual item, including shipping and handling charges, gift-wrap charges and other service charges, less any applicable discounts.
Separate charges for tax, shipping and handling charges will be itemized in your shopping cart and on your Western Outlets order confirmation email.

State Use Tax Reporting Requirements:
Western Outlets collects sales tax in states where we have “Sales Tax Nexus”. If your purchase is not being charged sales tax, then Western Outlets does not currently have “Sales Tax Nexus” in your state and currently does not collect sales tax in your State. In addition, many States have Use Tax Laws. If your State has a Use Tax law and we are not collecting sales tax on your transaction, then per your State Use Tax laws, this purchase is most likely not exempt from sales or use tax.
Your receipt is your record for filing and paying your use tax return.
To see the rules and filing requirements for your specific State, go to your States Department of Revenue (or similar) website.
Western Outlets is required by law to provide some Use Tax States with an annual report indicating the total dollar amount of the buyer’s purchases (no other information – such as the content of the purchases – is currently required or will be provided).
